On January 25, 2018, CCE Principal Matthew Estes visited his alma mater, Jumpertown High School, Prentiss County, MS, to speak to the Junior Class about the concepts of bridge design.  The visit was in an effort to aid the students in preparation of their upcoming balsa wood bridge design competition that was held the week of April 20, 2018.  The teenagers constructed their bridges using balsa wood and K’Nex building pieces.  CCE was honored to have a role in this hands-on civil engineering endeavor at Jumpertown High School.  Below are images of the competitors finished product.
