In January of 2018, April Tutor, Professional Engineer at CCE’s Selmer Office, received her Mississippi Professional Engineer’s license, giving her the distinction of holding her Professional Engineer license in three states. After receiving her Professional Engineer license the State of Arkansas in April of 2017, she quickly began filing the paperwork to become a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee and Mississippi. April received her TN license in December of 2017 followed by her MS license in January. We congratulate April in her efforts to expand her professional career.
Garrett Dendy, PS, recently received his Land Surveyor license in Tennessee after taking the examination last month. Garrett has been a Professional Land Surveyor in Mississippi since 2015. He is now licensed in the State of Mississippi & Tennessee. We congratulate Garrett in his efforts to expand his professional career.
Memphis, TN. CCE was pleased to attended the Tennessee County Services Association (TCSA)’s Annual Fall Conference & Trade Show for 2017, held at the Peabody in Memphis, Shelby County, TN. This show is major event each year for the TCSA. It is at the fall conference that members adopt the official legislative platform for the coming legislative year and elect new officers and board members of TCSA and each affiliate association. The fall conference is packed with membership meetings, general sessions, breakout educational sessions and workshops. Each year the Bob Wormsley “Outstanding County Official of the Year Award” is presented. The association also recognizes best practices being implemented by counties with a “County Success” award each year at this meeting.
