Recognizing innovative approaches to regional economic and community development, the “Alcorn County Natural Gas System Improvements” project was presented a NADO Innovation Award for 2014 by the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO). CCE provided engineering services for the entire scope of the project from funding procurement assistance through construction engineering and inspection services. Project partners were the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors, Corinth Utilities Commission & Cook Coggin Engineers, Inc. The project administrator was the Northeast MS Planning & Development District.
CCE receives 2014 Engineering Excellence People’s Choice Award at the MS ACEC Winter Meeting held March 20, 2014. The award was given for Engineering Services provided for the City of Corinth’s “Clifford G. Worsham Surface Water System” project. CCE provided engineering services for the entire scope of this project.
The City of Corinth was awarded “Overall Winner Population >10,000” at the Mississippi Municipal Leaque conference held the last week in July, 2013 for the City’s “Clifford G. Worsham Surface Water System” project. CCE provided funding procurement assistance, site development , preliminary engineering, design engineering, and construction & inspection engineering services to the City of Corinth for the project.
CCE receives 2013 ACEC Engineering Excellence Honor Award at the MS ACEC Winter Meeting held March 21, 2013. The Owner of the project is the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors. The project engineer was Kent Geno, County Engineer for Alcorn County. The project was administered through the MS Office of State Aid Road Construction.
